If you think that the only activities on the Island are golf, tennis, and relaxing on the beach you might be missing out on the best part of your vacation. Why not spend a day on the water taking a dolphin cruise, deep sea fishing charter, or a boat tour of the area? If you're the do-it-yourself type you can rent a boat, jet ski, canoe, or kayak and explore the waterways on your own.
If you're a landlubber, go ahead and treat yourself to an afternoon at one of the area's world class spas or spend the day shopping at the factory outlet malls and strolling through quaint Island shopping plazas and boutiques. For outdoor enthusiasts, bicycle rentals are one of the most popular activities, and biking and walking trails are available in each resort and throughout
the Island.
When the day winds down and the sun begins to set, take your family to any one of hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of restaurants, or enjoy a romantic dinner cruise out of Harbour Town or Shelter Cove. Close out your evening by taking in a show at the Arts Center, a movie at one of the local theaters, or a long walk on the beach.
